- Bottled mineral water is easily available from hotels, restaurants and shops at low cost. The tap water in Egypt is fine for brushing your teeth and showering.

- Its customary to tip restaurant’s staff with 10% of the bill (assuming a service charge has not already been added, though this goes to the restaurant and not to the waiter)

- What to shop in Egypt , beside the Local Markets , there is a lot of Touristic shops and Bazars in Egypt ,to Pick up special souvenirs (original , handmade Staff ) and you can see the stages of its crafting , and we are here popular with The Shisha, it is most definitely one of the best items to buy while in Egypt. It is a fixture in every coffee house. Purely leathers made Sandals, bags, and shoes are also great purchases. Egypt is also famous for its glass products, Gold, copper, Egyptian Cotton, Papyrus. also some stores for perfumes, Belly dancing outfits and accessories are also a popular products to be bought from Egypt. this Bazars and shops are available not only in Cairo, but also with same products in Aswan, Sharm EL Sheikh, Alexandria, Hurghada …..,Luxor is the best Place to pick up the Stones and Alabaster
- The currency of Egypt is the Egyptian Pound (LE), which is divided into 100 piasters. Banknotes come in denominations of 5, 10, 20, 50, 100 and 200.
- If you are travelling on a group tour, which includes your accommodation, sightseeing, breakfast and transportation, we recommend budgeting between USD $40-50 per person per day to cover additional meals, snacks, drinks, souvenir purchases. You can easily exchange money at the airport through ATM Machines, at Hotels, and a lot of currency exchange shops are available.
